On October 22, 2020 I decided to finally give this place a try. When I got there around 4:30 pm there were no cars and the doors were locked. It looked very much closed down. The message on there main sign confirmed it, "Thank you for 32 years".

PURPLE ONION restaurant is an old timer& good restaurant for breakfasts with the family after church worship. It is a sizable place so the wait is usually not too long. It is not fancy & modern but rather a comfortable spot for a bite to eat. The menu is vast serving everything from shiskkabob, pork chops, skillets and apple fritter pancakes.. Food & service is good along with portion sizes. If you are looking for a budget friendly no frill stop for breakfast or lunch PURPLE ONION r may fit your appetite nicely..
