The Purple Turtle is pretty near Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin. Come to this bar for a break and order nicely cooked rolls. It is nice to enjoy delicious draft beer, cider or lager. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at The Purple Turtle.

The purple turtle is within Reading folk law. The area that this venue suffers is staff: Unprofessional, arrogant, dont pay attention and lazy. I have a video recording to back up my claim. Sack all of them and employ, hardworking, polite, clean and tidy listeners; you would increase your turnover by £100,000 pa. Beft if luck. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Absolutely amazing place. The effort this venue goes to get the sound right is UNBELIEVABLE! Sound is engineers worked with a band for over an hour to set them up. I watched the whole process which was as an eye opener. The lengths this venue goes to, to make your experience a great one is FANTASTIC VERY impressed. Service and beer was great. I was early for the Hexagon but I’ll defo be back here ! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
