The T bone steak was pretty good. The whole roasted chicken was a bit dry. Star of the show was the fries. Slightly battered, crispy till the end. Wine selection was mostly fruity reds. Overall pretty good meal, service and atmosphere. A bit pricey like most restaurants in the area. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: It's mainly focused on meat.

Feel the atmosphere of the Pyrenees Mountains in Karuizawa "Pyrenees" On this day, I visited the bistro "Pyrenees" in Karuizawa. The highlight here is the lunch buffet. All items on the lunchtime menu are included. You can enjoy a variety of side dishes at your own pace. For the course, I ordered the "Aged Bone Beef Lunch (¥6,650)". This is a course where you can fully enjoy bone-in beef grilled in the fireplace. Since we were there, we also had the limited edition ``Pumpkin Potage.'' The side dishes are really diverse. A wide variety of colorful ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and sweet potatoes are used in abundance. Apparently, this is a dish that is served as part of the evening course, and the taste has not been compromised in any way. Women are happy to be able to enjoy small portions of various dishes. Aged meat is rare. The contrast between the richness of the meat around the bones and the sweetness on the outside creates a taste that you will never get tired of. Adding mustard gives the meat a unique flavor and makes it delicious to the last bite. It would be no exaggeration to say that it was the best side dish buffet I've ever been to.It was of such a high standard. I would like to visit you again.
