And then, a few milliseconds after microphone feedback cut through the rhythm and bustle of the yard, everything stopped. Guards, inmates. All of Shawshank State Prison was motionless as the two sopranos' voices soared in melodic conversation over the loudspeakers, perfectly rendering Mozart's Duettino "Sull'aria" and enraging the Warden in the process. Soon, "Red" speaks...not to his fellow inmates but to the film's audience. "To this day, I have no idea what those two Italian ladies were singing about...it was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made these walls dissolve away. For the briefest moment every last man in Shawshank felt free." Okay, perhaps it is just a slight exaggeration for me to compare QDOBA's limited-time-only Citrus Lime Shrimp to that moment; and that bird has flown, at least temporarily, but it will come back. In the meantime, your protein options for the quesadillas, tacos, and burrito bowls range from beans to chicken to Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken to ground beef; and the rice, the fajita veggies, and the guacamole are available for you to request at no extra charge. I must leave you with a warning, however; the business hours for the QDOBA Mexican Eats inside the University of Maryland's Adele H. Stamp Student Union vary depending on whether you stop by during the fall, spring, or summer terms.
