BED BUG ALERT!! We checked in 8/17/26 and by 8/19, my cousin was covered in bites. We slept with the window open as there is no AC, so assumed maybe it was mosquitos. 8/20 I woke up with at 5am with a bite and my cousin had more. We spotted two bed bugs on my bed, blood smeared from the bug getting smushed, along with signs of poop. I went down at 6am to report, but no front desk staff present. What hotel doesn’t have 24 hour front desk? I went down later in the morning to report. Aman deserves 5 stars for how he handled the situation. He came to our room immediately when I offered to show him the bug, involved housekeeping, and remained on hold with booking.com for an annoying amount of time until we got our refund resolved. I see past reviews now of bed bugs going back an over year, so they are definitely aware of the issue. We stayed in room 315. Seems like the positive reviews of this place are for the concert venue, not the hotel. Some more notes. This place really should not be advertised as a hotel. The building is alarming when you first pull up. Looks like an abandoned warehouse with no main entrance on the street. There is an awful stench coming from the bathroom that spread to the rest of the room. Had to get a diffuser to mask the smell. The shower drain smelled of a different odor. The halls and main building also have an odd, musty odor. Our shower didn’t drain. After 3 minutes the water was running towards the toilet, soaking the bath mat. The floors are concrete with a very grungy looking rug. Unlabeled dispenser of something in the shower. No towel hooks in the bathroom. Towel hooks are outside next to the sink, but then no place to hang a hand towel. The beds are just resting on wood thrown together straight from the garden store. Hardly any space in the room for luggage to be placed that is not just in the middle of the floor. For the same price or €10 more per day, you can find much better, legitimate hotels nearby. The positives I will reiterate - the staff we came in contact with were very helpful. Aman was amazing, understanding, and apologetic on behalf of the hotel. The housekeeping staff helped us with getting access to the laundry to wash all of our items before we checked out. The fridge was nice. Close to public transit to the city. Do not stay here if you are coming to Amsterdam for vacation. Unless of course you want a souvenir of bed bugs coming home with you.

I am staying at Q-Factory Hotel from 25 July to 5 August. Unfortunately, my experience was Very disappointing. The room was advertised on Booking.com as including air conditioning, but upon arrival I discovered that it was not working. The hotel later confirmed in writing that the AC could not be repaired during my stay and no solution provided by them. To make matters worse, part of the window had been replaced with a wooden panel instead of glass, making the room extremely hot, especially during the warm weather. The room safe also produced a continuous noise that disturbed my sleep. And a very bad smell in the toilet.. besides the hole hotel is missing cleaning...
