Quarto was one of the highlights of my visit to Atami. I had an excellent Americano served with hot milk — smooth, balanced, and clearly prepared with great care and precision. What makes this place truly special is Mai, the owner. After a long career in coffee product development for a roasting company, she brought her deep knowledge and refined palate to Atami to create something personal and authentic. You can immediately taste the experience and passion behind every cup. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated — the kind of café where you want to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. If you appreciate high-quality coffee made by someone with genuine expertise, Quarto is absolutely worth visiting while in Atami. Price per person: ¥1–1,000

One of the best coffee bars I’ve visited. The coffee quality is excellent — well-extracted, balanced, and clearly made with care.
