If you're wondering why this place is empty at 2pm on Sunday, I'll explain it to you in a few words. The 4th gate was one of the few remaining bastions on the Ostia coast. Good food, friendly staff and a respectable location. Now when you arrive, a not very nice girl welcomes you, you order on a fixed menu, you pay immediately and they give you the buzzer that when it rings you have to go and get your dishes and take them to the wooden table without a tablecloth or anything, like a company canteen. It's no coincidence that if before this period you had to wait an hour to get a table today they will have made a total of 6 seats. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never see you again!

Excellent beach spot, clean and well looked after. The bar staff are not friendly but they are efficient. For being on the sea I recommend it but without too many pretensions, in this period it is excellent!!! Few people fast and accurate service!
