I had walked to Otra Vez because of the reviews and I stood for a good while and no one tended to me. So I kept walking and found Que Rico and I don't regret it! From the attentive service to the amazing food and lets not forget these margaritas during Happy Hour.... I loved it I didn't take a pic of the food because I was too hungry! Come visit this place its a nice relaxing atmosphere after a good walk down 16th. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

The food at Qué Rico Mexican Restaurant was actually very good — flavorful and well-cooked — but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server never came back to check on our table after taking our order. We waited quite a while on drinks, and I eventually had to get up and go to the bar myself to ask for someone to come over and help with refills. Meanwhile, our server was sitting and chatting with people outside rather than attending to tables. It was frustrating and disappointing. As for value — we ordered the fajitas for two, which cost $38, but honestly, the portion size was barely enough for one person. When we asked if we could just add steak to the fajitas, we were told it would be an additional $10. When the bill came, it was closer to $15. That kind of surprise charge, especially on top of already small portions, left a bad impression. The kitchen seems to be doing their part — the food itself is solid — but the restaurant has a lot to learn when it comes to service and being upfront about pricing. For what you're paying, the portions and hospitality just don't match up. Not sure I’d return unless major improvements are made.
