I live in the neighborhood. A few years ago we ate there and I chipped a tooth on something I was served. The manager was unconcerned. We haven't been back since.

I hope they come back. The food was great and they had better menu options than most restaurant's in town - including vegetarian options. I miss this restaurant a lot.

I was referred to Quekas Authentic Mexican Food on E Cork St, Kalamazoo, MI, by Julio, a seasoned Mexican correcaminos who would drive miles for their tacos de birria. Mexico was indeed in Carmen's hospitality and food. Natalya, my wife, went for the Aztec soup and I for a bowl of pozole left over from a big wedding order and, of course, the tacos de birria. We were not disappointed and it was well priced. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
