Stopped by during my travels through Hackettstown and ordered lunch; an Italian sub. I opted for a 6" traditional Italian sub consisting of salami, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and a splash of oil and vinegar. And NEVER with mayonnaise...never. For the record, Quick Chek and Wawa do NOT make authentic Italian subs. They use a chopped ham instead of using prosciutto (Italian cured ham). Chopped ham or baked ham shouldn't be used to make an Italian sub. But I digress. The Italian sub I bought today was horrible. First of all, the amount of meat and cheese was adequate at best. But when I bit into the sub and got a mouthful of mayonnaise I almost throw-up. I HATE mayonnaise and never use it or eat it. You DON'T put mayonnaise on an Italian sub. Either oil and vinegar or maybe a splash of balsamic. But NEVER mayonnaise. If anyone from Quick Chek reads this review, I threw the sub away after one bite. My order number was 192 if that means anything. I would appreciate it if I ever return to this Quick Chek the person who makes the subs and sandwiches PAYS ATTENTION to what the consumer ordered. How hard is it to read your monitor to see EXACTLY what I ordered? And you can't say that it was lunch time and that it was busy. There were three people in the store. If you count the guy working on your soda machine and the man talking to him that would make five. Thete was only two customers including myself waiting for their orders. Very disappointed with the sub that I bought today. Pay attention sandwich making employees. Thank you, Dr. Nick

First time here. Staff was welcoming and friendly. This location is one of the cleanest QuickChek I’ve been to. I recommend this place. Top notch!
