I ordered a Hot Milk Tea from Jus Fruit in Pacific Place Mall and was greatly disappointed. The tea was NOT hot but luke warm and the lid of the cup had dust all over it. For over $6 for a simple tea, you'd think it would be done right. Dust off your lids too! Dirty place, staff not wearing masks or gloves and cold tea. Find another location.

I am writing this review due to taste, staff, atmosphere, and other foods they serve here are not part of this review. I have never gave out a 2 piece before since I believe no one ever deserves it, so this is a first. Their bubbletea is not what you expect. It tastes like old frozen fruit, and yes believe me you can tell. The milk tea doesn't not taste like milk tea, it's like old powdered milk tea you would buy at tnt. Overall bubbletea score is a 2.5/5 for me. If you want appetizers though, Jus Fruit isn't bad, their takoyaki is a bit pricy but it's pretty yummy, doesn't have that flavour explosion in your mouth like authentic Japanese restaurants but for what's there it is good. Overall appetizers score 4/5.

I went in today to get fresh taro with Pearl's. I asked the lady(owner) if she has fresh taro? she replied and said yes.
They also have a promo on Wednesday buy one get one free. But only applies to lemon cantaloupe only so 2 lemon cantaloupe for the price of one. Which I don't want as the buy one get one wasn't clear.
As she is making my "Fresh Taro" drink, I noticed it is powder. I quickly stopped her and said I didn't want Powder taro. she ignored me and continued to make the drink. When she finished and handed me the drink, I told her again I didn't want Powder taro. I was willing to choose a different drink prior to her making and after she was done.
She didn't listen and tried to convince me the powdered taro is better then fresh taro. And she went on to say and I quote " don't get fresh taro it's poisonous"
The funny part is I tried to stop her from making the drink but she ignored me. I even said I would take a different drink but she didn't listen.
So I was irked and wanted my money back. She quickly replied no refunds but there's no signs stating this.
Needless to say "BUYER BEWARE"
I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!
BESIDES THE ONE AROUND THE CORNER (TEN REN) IS CHEAPER AND BETTER. I SHOULD'VE WENT TO THEM FIRST AS THEY'VE BEEN THE ORGINAL OWNER.
