Should be 3 1/4. Good restaurant owned and run by professionals taking a chance on opening their own restaurant. Good luck to them. The kitchen staff are skilled professional chefs.
The lamb was good. Cooked properly medium rare with very nice vegetables on the plate.
The red curry was pretty good. The chef had the style right just wasn't quite as rich as I like. He knew to put the lychee in it and make it rich. Pity he can't eat at the Nahm Thai (closed) and taste where the journey ends. Southern Star on the Esplanade in Town do a pretty good one though.
The Lamington desert was good. If in the area you should support these guys.

I had heard about this restaurant from friends who live out that way, and with one of those friends celebrating her birthday we headed out. Wow….what a gem in Wattle Grove – it was a complete, and welcome, surprise. In a small shopping centre around the corner from Aldi, Quills has a lovely ambience – a large, airy dining space – with attractive booths along one wall where we ensconced ourselves, tables and chairs scattered about, including an al fresco area out front, and an eye-catching bar. Friendly, welcoming waiters add to the charm.

Walked in tonight, full restaurant, so was really looking forward to dinner after a tiring day at work. I ordered the t-bone steak and sis ordered the barramundi. Very very disappointed with the quality of food produced. T-bone steak was not 'medium' at all, overcooked and tough, burnt sides. The jus that accompanied the steak tasted a little burnt too. Sis had a pumpkin soup that came with barramundi, not the best. Fish skin was tough, not crispy. Maybe both me and sis didn't dress up nicely, we were ignored the whole time, the staff walked around to the tables all around us to chat with them but not our table. Overpriced for that quality of food, worst food I've had in a long time. Not impressed!
