Located on the bustling Fouad Street in Alexandria, R Factory is a no-frills dining option specializing in fast food. Tucked away at Hub 1924, this spot offers a straightforward menu catering to those with an appetite for quick and affordable bites. Despite being open until late, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 AM almost every day of the week, specific details about their menu or popular items remain scarce, as no customer reviews have been made available yet.
The restaurant prides itself on maintaining a cheap price level for its offerings, making it accessible for a variety of budgets. However, there is a noticeable absence of recent updates from the restaurant's management regarding any new promotions or updates, which might leave potential visitors wanting for more information. Those curiosities, however, might be easily satisfied with a personal visit. With limited information online, visiting R Factory could be a spontaneous adventure for anyone craving a fast, budget-friendly meal in Alexandria.

A Cozy Dessert Spot That Needs More Consistency Chocolate Factory has always been one of the iconic dessert spots in Alexandria, and it’s a place I’ve visited many times over the years. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with plenty of seating options. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the Greek-Roman Museum and the famous Fouad Street, which is especially enjoyable during the winter. In the summer, however, it can get quite hot outside. On my latest visit, we ordered a Kinder skillet, a chocolate crepe, and a Coke. The skillet was excellent—perfectly served, with the right temperature, portion, and amount of sauce. The crepe was good, but a bit too thin and slightly chewy, so it wasn’t on the same level. One issue I’ve noticed over several visits is that many of the cakes listed on the menu are often unavailable. More than once, I’ve asked for multiple cake options only to be told they were out of stock, even when visiting early in the day. Another thing I found odd is that there are no separate smoking and non-smoking sections. Smoking is allowed throughout the entire place, including the outdoor seating, which can be a bit annoying if you prefer a smoke-free environment. The service is decent, but the waiters can sometimes take a while to notice when you want to order or ask for the bill. Overall, it’s still a good dessert spot with a great atmosphere, but I hope they improve the consistency of the menu, the service, and provide a non-smoking area for guests who prefer it. Didn’t like the food at all. Most of the menu wasn’t available, which was disappointing. The chicken was chewy and didn’t seem freshly prepared, and the shrimp on the pizza tasted like plastic. To make matters worse, the air conditioner’s water was dripping onto our table throughout the meal. Overall, it was a very poor dining experience. Had a fantastic lunch experience thanks to Salama and the team at The Chocolate Factory! The cheese chicken burger and chicken fajitas were incredibly tasty, with the fajitas just needing a touch more salt. Salama’s spot-on recommendations made the meal, prompting a return visit for the equally great steak sandwich. Highly recommend for the warm, vintage, and cozy vibes. Salama provided excellent recommendations and hospitality. Menu Favorites: Highly recommend the Cheese Chicken Burger, Steak Sandwich, and Chicken Fajitas. Atmosphere: Very cozy, vintage ambiance. Verdict: Will definitely return. Price per person: E£200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
