Tucked away in the quiet streets of Waseda Tsurumakicho, RAMEN GOSSOU is a humble eatery specializing in ramen. Despite its low profile on mainstream directories—save for a minimal presence on Foursquare—this spot seems to cater to both locals and curious visitors seeking quality ramen dishes. The menu spans brunch, lunch, and dinner, although specific offerings for each time are unclear.
This establishment has built a modest reputation for its ramen, which some patrons describe as being of good quality, accompanied by reasonably priced beer. Notably, the special ramen might require a unique dining approach, involving a separate broth for dipping. The restaurant also features a well-regarded shio ramen with scallops and an interesting iteration of abura soba, elevated by house-made chili oil and olive vinegar. Information about current specialties or events seems sparse, and it's been two years since any customer shared feedback about recent experiences.
In addition to their classic ramen and abura soba, the restaurant offers tsukemen, which appeals to more than a few visitors. Some reviews mentioned seasonal changes to the menu during July, where summer exclusives come into play. Occasional special ramen is recommended by diners, but again, more recent insights from the owner are scarce, leaving much of the present dining experience at RAMEN GOSSOU up to day-to-day discovery.

Decent place. Ramen is good quality and beer is cheap, just be careful with the ‘special’ ramen as it’s served with a separate broth and you’re meant to dip it.

ホタテの塩ラーメンが有名ですが、油そばが上品で美味い。オリーブ酢と自家製ラー油が絶妙。
