It was my first visit back to Rio’s Kitchen in Sannomiya in a while. The interior is filled with art pieces, so there’s a lot to look at and enjoy, the atmosphere is just as good as the food. The course is very satisfying, with skewers served twice, and high-quality ingredients like Sanda pork and Kobe beef really stand out. The à la carte dishes are also well done, and the finishing options are on another level. I ended up trying all of the finishing dishes, the ramen, curry, and ochazuke, and every single one was excellent. For ¥8,800, the overall value is incredible. If you’re looking for a place in Sannomiya where you can enjoy great food and a great vibe, this is definitely a spot I’d recommend. An eight-story restaurant building adjacent to the Bacchus Building across the street. Take the elevator to the 7th floor and enjoy a casual course meal in the POP restaurant. The course price includes beverages. You can enjoy from soup to the last. The crispy skin of the chicken wings was great! We stayed for about 2 hours and it was a pleasant weekend evening.
