My family visited this restaurant twice, and the second time was for breaking the fast. RM Khas Rarang is located right beside the Rarang gas station, making it relatively easy to find. The restaurant has its own complex with a spacious parking lot, so cars and motorcycles don't have to park on the side of the road. RM Khas Rarang offers only one menu, a package comprising ayam kampung goreng (fried free-range chicken), ayam bumbu Rarang (Rarang-style spicy free-range chicken), pecel (boiled vegetables with peanut sauce), sayur bening (spinach soup), sambal bawang (onion sambal), and mineral water. However, they also offer some snacks (such as French fries and sausages) and beverages (for example, orange juice and iced tea) as alternatives. For four people, we only spent IDR200,000 with the addition of orange juice per person (IDR10,000 each). Ayam bumbu Rarang is fried chicken cooked with a special sauce of Rarang that cannot be found anywhere in Lombok. It is fragrant and hot, which is suitable for people who fancy spicy dishes. However, for those who can't handle spicy food, you can opt for the flavorful fried chicken. The fried chicken will fit kids' taste buds since it doesn't have any spicy seasoning on it. This restaurant is convenient for big families and special occasions since it has separate floor seating for each guest group. We will surely visit this place in the future with other family members.
