Romano Bar has a great atmosphere and the venue itself is visually impressive. However, the overall experience didn’t match the expectations of an establishment of this size and reputation. For a bar that positions itself as upscale, not accepting tap-to-pay or standard card payments directly at the venue is inconvenient. Having customers walk two blocks to process payment — especially after spending over 10,000 pesos — feels unnecessary and outdated. On top of that, service was minimal. We were pouring our own drinks most of the night and didn’t receive consistent attention from staff. Yet at the end, a tip was still expected, which didn’t align with the level of service provided. The concept and energy are there, but improvements in payment options and customer service would significantly elevate the experience. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
