However the food was nothing short of amazing! I think we were very lucky as chef Reuben Riffel was in the kitchen on the day I visited (I asked for a picture but he politely declined).
From the first bite of chili salted squid to the last taste of crème brûlée the meal was incredible. I also tried something which was new to me - bourguignon braised beef cheek and oxtail. This was the winning dish for me and the depth of flavor was unbelievable.
I really hope that I can visit some of Reuben's other restaurants soon, and hopefully catch that illusive picture with him!
