Raees Coffee sounds like it should be a solid spot for a quick caffeine fix, but after a few visits, I can honestly say it’s only good for takeaway—and even that’s a stretch. The service is slow, the prices are high, and the overall experience feels flat. It’s the kind of place that looks decent from the outside but doesn’t deliver once you step in. The first thing you’ll notice is the pace of the staff. They’re not rude, but they move without any sense of urgency or rhythm. Even when the café isn’t busy, it somehow takes forever to get a simple drink ready. You find yourself waiting and wondering what’s taking so long for a latte or flat white. It’s not that they’re being careful or precise—it’s more like there’s no coordination or motivation behind the counter. The whole service flow feels off, which makes the experience frustrating, especially if you just wanted a quick coffee on the go. Then there’s the pricing. The menu looks like it’s from a high-end specialty coffee shop, but the drinks don’t match the price tag. You pay premium prices for what tastes like average coffee at best. The espresso is often too bitter or too weak, depending on the day, and there’s zero consistency. Sometimes the milk in the latte is overheated, losing that creamy texture that makes a good coffee satisfying. Other times it’s under-steamed and bland. It’s disappointing because the prices suggest care and quality, but the product doesn’t follow through.
