Nothing inherently wrong with Raff55, but it doesn't seem to know what it is. Visited with wife for breakfast and plenty of room to sit, drinks order taken at table and buffet breakfast. So you get a plate put some items on it, more on this later and then are presented with another plate with 2 rashers of bacon and 1 egg and do you want mushrooms. OK unfamiliarity here but taking away the plates might be an idea or clearer signing where to start. Anyway I was a bit dissaponted that the bacon, eggs and mushrooms were not buffet, and whole it may be possible to get more, it seems odd to go up again to ask for an extra egg, when you may want two eggs with everything else. Hash browns, sausage, beans, fried bread, tinned chopped tomatoes all buffer service and there is a toasting station. But because Raff55 obviously has a tapas restaurant in the evening it looked a bit empty . Place was buzzing by the time we left and not surprised. It is a little out of the way but lots of parking available directly opposite or nearby. What they did they did well but would have liked everything to be buffet. I have a feeling that if the did buffet meals after a certain time they would get even more custom than the tapas bar. Obviously not roast meats, but liver onions , cottage pie, fish, sausage, chilli. Hope this place succeeds as the staff never stop and were always polite and helpful. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
