It’s my second day in Perth, Australia, and I was craving Indonesian food especially something spicy! After searching around, I decided to try Raja Gurih Restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a last-minute decision, so I arrived at around 8 PM, while the restaurant closes at 8:30 PM. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They told me, “Just take your time, enjoy your meal. We’re not in a rush.” I really appreciated that, although I knew they were about to close. I ordered the Ayam Geprek, Telur, and Teh Tarik, and the total was only around AUD 25. Honestly, I think that’s a really good price for the portion and how filling the meal was. The Ayam Geprek came with two pieces of chicken, and the sambal was SO good! The portion was generous and definitely satisfying. They also gave me another red chili sambal, which I believe was complimentary. It was basically pure chili! For my personal taste, I think it would be even better with a little salt, seasoning, and maybe a squeeze of lime to bring out more flavor. But overall? Five stars from me! For me, Raja Gurih is also a great example of how Indonesian restaurants overseas can represent our food so well generous portions, reasonable prices, and that comforting Indonesian taste that makes you feel a little closer to home. Thank you, Raja Gurih, for the delicious food and especially for the warm hospitality. Wishing Raja Gurih continued success! Ordered nasi padang ayam. Omg feels like home. The chicken was super crispy and juicy in the inside. All sambals were packed eiththe right amount of heat and deep flavour. Rice is fragrant. Quite possibly the best indonesian food I've tried in Perth. Makasi abang!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
