Absolutely delicious if you like thick noodles and thick broth! I got the large red miso bowl and I was definitely satisfied. The noodles were chewy and had the right amount of bite. While I liked the broth it could have been a little hotter in temperature. Definitely a great addition to the South Bay noods scene. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Came here because of an IG video. Michelin ramen in a supermarket? Ok I’ll make the drive to see what the buzz is all about. Upon further research, their other location is in the Michelin guide. It’s still clearly advertised as so at this location. But nonetheless, I did enjoy their tsukemen ramen. The broth was rich and hearty. Their noodles and chashu were extra thick and different from other tsukemen ramen I’ve tried previously. I could tell quality ingredients went into making this ramen. Was it worth the drive? Probably not but I had a great time at the Japanese market and left with an inflatable Pocky stick! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

2022 Micheline Guide Bib Gourmand awardee Ramen and Tsukemen tao is now in Gardena! Thg Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand is given to restuarants for "Exceptionally good food at moderate prices." Here at Ramen Tao Gardena; i would definitely say good food at moderate prices is indeed the case. I got the large Chashu Miso Tuskemen and it was not only a delicious dish but also one of great value! For $20.50 the large comes 4 giant pieces of chashu, an egg and lots of noodles. The soup broth was nice and thick. I also enjoyed the thick, chewy noodles and it paired really well with the flavorful soup broth. I enjoyed my first visit here and am looking forward to also trying out their ramen in the future!
