I had no idea what I was walking into, we just needed pizza because we'd promised my son that would be lunch. I was blown away. The Quarter (1/4 of a crunchy square Detroit style pie) was cut into two right triangles and sprinkled with a chiffonade of fresh basil. The sausage was mild but flavorful, the Calabrian peppers were genuinely hot but not unpleasantly so if you're a fan of spice, and the giant dollop of ricotta cheese was cooling and balanced the heat nicely. The homemade ranch was very good (according to my wife, I don't care for ranch so she ate mine). The bread sticks were actually a small loaf of focaccia cut into strips swimming in olive oil and covered with Parmesan cheese. The bread was somehow light, airy, fluffy, and crunchy all at once. I'll be getting the pickle pizza next time, and there WILL be a next time Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Breadsticks, Quarter Pepperoni Pizza

I’m sorry - what happened to this place? Pizza is so flat and sad. None of the fluffy Detroit style crust one hopes for. How could they let a pizza go out like this, this is actually the second time now we’ve ordered pickup from this location and the pizza looks deflated like this. Where’s the quality control? Absolutely delicious every single time. Besides the taste being too tier, the attention to detail they put on their product is impressive. Every topping is placed on your pie w care, not thrown all over the pizza in a quick manner to get customers moving through the door. You're getting fresh toppings of high quality. My personal opinion is that the Dekum St location makes the best slice of pizza in Portland. I think everyone visiting should go at least try a slice for the experience. Its one of the neighborhood cuts that you feel good spending your money at because you see it being put to good use right in front of you. This is the place I bring all visitors for a slice of Portland. I remain impressed by the amount of pride the workers put into every single slice they send out. I've eaten here a few dozen times and never once been served anything that felt rushed or sloppy. Bravo Ranch. Ps. The homemade ranch is a religious experience. It tastes like it was specifically crafted for pizza. It cuts through the acidic tomato sauce so perfectly. Nice work. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
