Just steps from the SMART Train station, with excellent top notch creative cocktails, nice selection of beers, quick and thoughtful service, and a cool laid back vibe that could be described as upscale divey, or Marin neighborhood bar. Extreme Pizza next door serves quick slices, salads, cookies and more, and you may bring it into the bar. Manager Duncan was very accommodating for our 25-person group to crowd in on a weekday, gave us the back room, and was all sorts of friendly. They had open mic the first time I went, and karaoke the second time. A lively atmosphere with a cool crowd even on a Wednesday evening! I'll definitely be back Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I highly recommend Ranch Water. We love coming for their delicious cocktails (no food but I count their amazing margaritas as plenty) and relaxed ambiance. I got the idea to have my husband’s birthday here and they let us rent out a small part of the back area. I was able to decorate, bring cupcakes, and they added some details to make him feel really special. It was so easy to work with the owner, Duncan, that my friends are already planning their next birthday there too. It’s the perfect place where it has a great vibe, excellent drinks, great service, and fun music. Highly, highly recommend! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
