Nicely cooked bacon, bacon and eggs and steaks have a nice taste. You can always degust tasty biscuits, pancakes and French toasts at this restaurant. Get your meal started with good coffee or great ice tea.
Rankin Restaurant is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. The motto of this place is adequate prices for yummy meals. You will definitely appreciate the comfortable atmosphere and nice decor. Google users awarded this spot 4.7.

So far this little gem is wonderful, the set your self didn't like much, but I guess if they know you, you all good. The flavor on the gravy i know it could be better ( from scratch maybe), now the French toast not bad.so if I'm close to the place yes I will come back. Enjoy

A great, unexpected find! Rankin Restaurant has been in the same location since 1953 they told me. It's billed as Knoxville's oldest restaurant. Don't let the location and exterior put you off. Simple, delicious, food, fresh made to order. The locals come here to eat so you know it must be good. If you're looking for a decent standard breakfast, give Rankin a try. (I didn't try lunch but would imagine it was just as good as my breakfast.)
