5 stars for the amazing customer service we received and is the only reason this place doesn't get one star 5 stars for the drinks 1 star for the food I was soooooo excited to finally try this place and the server did an amazing job selling the food but when it actually came to tasting and eating the food I was disappointed. Every dish was bland and for the price I would never come back and pay that amount of money for such bland food. I hate to say this but amount of money we paid was just not worth it for the food. We ordered 1 dozen oysters - 6 east coast oysters were the best flavor and 6 west coast were barely okay Caesar salad - Most underwhelming flavor in terms of dressing. Tasted no anchovies at all. Croutons were bland and texture was just okay Steak tartar - needed more flavor and the Chips weren't as crispy as they appear Ahi tartar - I've had better at cheaper restaurants. The flavor again was lacking 20oz 40 day Dry aged NY steak - the most disappointing part of the whole experience. Worst steak I've ever had and I'm not just saying that for the dramatics. I've had plenty of dry aged steaks in my life and this one didn't even come across as dry aged. I was extremely confused but just went with it because I thought maybe I was missing something and I didn't want to judge negatively off bat. I really wanted to love this place and give it a chance. lol The medium rare was not juicy, extremely chewy and in no way tender not even a little bit. There was no flavor not even a little salt. In all honesty, the NY steak I cook at home that is not dry aged is more tender, juicy, and flavorful than what we got here. No offense. Asparagus - Actually pretty tasty Potatoes Au Gratin - Tasted like what I make at home with a sprinkle of truffle oil I really wanted to love this place but I've had better food for less than what this place charges. 5 stars for the Ambience. It was freaking awesome and perfect for our date night but food was unfortunately very underwhelming and extremely overpriced. I would just come for the drinks.

This is our second visit to Rare Society and just like the last time, food, ambience and customer service were top notch. We started out with the Parker House Rolls (yummy) and for the entrée, I ordered the filet mignon with a side of onion rings and a Coronado Brewing Company IPA, while Shelly had the tri tip with onion rings. Both very good choices. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pickled Fried Onion Rings, Parker House Rolls, Steak
