Listen up folks. I walked in here not speaking a lick of German and not knowing what to expect. The guy said “you like chicken? That’s what we do.” Next thing i knew, i had the most glorious roasted half chicken i have ever seen laying on a plate in front of me. Crispy skin. Excellent flavor. Perfectly cooked. Top tier. Add this to the rotation. If I die tonight, i will die full and happy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best chickens are only available from Eckmann! Yesterday I realized that I have been visiting the Rathausschenke at irregular intervals for over 20 years. Everything has stayed the way it is here, and that's a good thing! Always my pleasure! Eckmann - chicken - backgammon and lying-Mäxchen.
