I'm not a big sushi fan so but I was there for a birthday dinner. Their tempora lemon is so delicious. Ask for it's not on a menu, but they do it like they do Their tempora jalapenos. The lemons super tasty. The beef teriyaki bowl is below average beef was just too tough, not good. But it's a sushi restaurant so there you have it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Recommended dishes: Garlic Edamame, Dante's Inferno Roll

Raw Sushi Bistro is hands down one of the best spots in the Central Valley for sushi. The fish is incredibly fresh and cut with real care, and the specialty rolls are creative without feeling gimmicky. We started with the garlic edamame, which is somehow addictive, then worked through a few signature rolls and everything came out perfectly balanced and beautifully plated. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere hit that sweet spot of lively but still comfortable for conversation. This is our new go-to for both a quick bite and a nicer night out. Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
