The South has Waffle House, New Hampshire has the Red Arrow Diner. I think we got the better deal. Sunday morning and the place was MOBBED. That should tell you how popular it is! And deservedly so. The wait for seats was short even with how busy it was. Wait staff was all friendly, even with how busy they were. Our server, Kayla, was friendly but fast and efficient. She recommended the steak and eggs when I asked about them and she was absolutely spot-on. They WERE delicious, and the maple-bourbon glaze was sweet but not too sweet. It was wonderful; I wish I'd thought to take a pic I could share. My wife's chicken sandwich was fresh, hot and GONE in 60 Seconds - she says it was great. Short take - I wish we had a Red Arrow Diner in Vermont, where I live. This place gets put on the "if we're going past Concord, this is a good place to eat" list. 24-hour diners are a thing where I grew up, and a good one is a treasure. We'll be back when we pass through again - their menu is huge and has a LOT of stuff I want to try.
