What an amazing place! The walk to Red Beach is an adventure in itself. The climb over the hill takes a bit of effort, but the moment you see the beach, you immediately realize it is absolutely worth it. One of the most beautiful spots in Crete! Red Beach Bar completes the experience perfectly. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed by the friendly and hospitable staff. The atmosphere is relaxed, laid-back, and gives you a real sense of being at home. The location is simply stunning, right next to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. What impressed us even more were the very reasonable prices. Considering that everything has to be carried over the hill on foot, the value for money is remarkable. A wonderful place where breathtaking nature, genuine hospitality, and relaxation come together. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Matala. We will definitely be back!
