The taste has been spoilt now! I don't see quality well and the hygiene has been brought down.

What is this place?! Jesus christ. Reading all the other reviews I'm convinced I went to the wrong Red Chutney. We went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon and were surprised that they had a buffet. Were told that the wait time was 30 mins and it took almost 45 mins to get seated. The place was complete chaos. The footfall was crazy, however it's no excuse for not mopping spilt drinks, missing serving spoons, mixing of serving spoons, no dinner plates (I ate my meal in quarter plates). The dahi vada had no vadas, I checked thrice. The idlis were stone hard and the sambhar was so heartless. The fried vegetables tasted like burnt ends (I didn't taste a single vegetable) and the vegetable manchurian had 3 manchurians in it. The shahi paneer tasted like a sweet dish, I'd have liked it if they sold it as kheer paneer. There were no cutlery either, it was essentially hunger games out there. Special mention to the awful gulab jamun. I've tasted some atrocious ones but this one won by far. I had to spit it out it was so chewy, had no spongyness to soak the syrup, it wasn't sweet, it wasn't gulab jamun. It's not cheap either ($43 for two) so I have no clue what the fuss is about.
