Cute concept TERRIBLE follow through.   Came here for my birthday breakfast and we waited ONE HOUR AND 18 minutes for our food!!!!  I'm not even kidding.  After waiting about an hour and asking our waitress a few times what was up with our order the "manager" finally came over and said our order had only "been placed 16 minutes ago"  and that we were wrong we hadn't really placed our order over an hour ago  I was furious. Terrible management "skills" it was an hour and 18 minutes bc I placed a phone call right after she took our order and it was 11:48am..... when out food arrived it was 1:06pm So the dingbat waitress FORGOT TO PUT OUR ODRER IN and didn't tell her manager it was her mistake and it's not like the place was even that busy Food was sh*tty as well  I had the bacon shriacha sandwhich and it was gross. Bacon was burnt and everything else was disgusting My niece had the "burger and fries" and she said it was worse than me Donald's.   I'm pissed we waited for so long bc the food was not worth that BS wait. Never coming back here again. Looks like lots of people have had the same experience worth this so called "business"

We came here for Mother's Day after hearing raving reviews from my co-worker. I booked an outside table for 2 and 2 pups the day before. When we had arrived, they told us that our reservations weren't until another 30 minutes! 30 minutes wouldn't be too bad if it was for a walk-in, but for someone who had already confirmed twice? They tried to accommodate us, however, another waitress had just given our table to another family.... After a long wait, we finally got a table. We ordered the Nutella Berry French toast and the mimosa French toast with a side of unlimited mimosas. How long did it take for our food to come out? ONE WHOLE HOUR. And what was worse, the mimosa was certainly not unlimited because they ran out of orange juice, and as soon as they went to the store to get the orange juice, they ran out of champagne! We were highly agitated. We actually saw a couple next to us get there and were getting impatient after a 15 minute wait to get drinks. I sympathized with them because they didn't even know what was coming... they left immediately after trying to order the mimosas that the restaurant ran out of. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. The staff is a mess and needs to get it together. After waiting for an hour for your food, you'd think that the food would be amazing after that anticipation. Sadly, It was not.

We are from Austin, and we visited the Red Door Cafe this morning for breakfast after attending a wedding last night. I looked this place up on Yelp yesterday and after seeing their menu, was really excited to try it! I'm glad we did because the food and service were awesome! The restaurant is in a cute house. I tried the breakfast plate w/ fresh homemade salsa, with a beignet on the side and coffee. My daughter had a kids pancake, topped with fresh berries (all her favorite), and a side of bacon. Her daddy had the red door omelette, with bacon and sausage. All the food is homemade from scratch, and super tasty! The breads are to die for. Our waitress was very polite, accommodating and full of smiles. The food came fast and was hot and fresh! I'll definitely be back next time I'm down here! Excellent job Red Door :)
