After eating a lot of Taiwan local cuisine, craved for some Indian food and went here. The Rotis were undercooked and difficult to chew and swallow. The curries we ordered for our rotis had strong food color which stained my hands. The stain has not gone even after 5 days. An authentic Indian curry will not have food color. This reflects how bad the quality of food is. Coming to taste, yes the taste was fine but at the expense of your health due to adulteration with food color. There were lot of non-Indians eating here who were eating with spoon and probably don’t know how artificially coloured their foods are, if only they used their hands. Very bad experience overall. I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere because most amazing Indian restaurants I’ve visited are like Taiwanese 超飯店。 Red Fort is not 5 star luxury in atmosphere, but it’s comfortable and very clean and has a dimly-lit and exotic appeal. The food and service is for sure 5 star. Best Indian food I’ve had in Taiwan in 20 years. Staff very friendly, professional yet also warm. Tika Masala on butter naan was an easy 10/10.
