I have eaten their dim sum in the past, and it was adequate for my needs. A few days ago I was hungry for dim sum, but Red Maple is a considerable drive for me so I wanted to make sure they were open for dine-in. I checked their website, which said "dine-in" was available in two places, here: http://redmaplechinese.com/ and here: http://redmaplechinese.com/About.asp But just to be on the safe side, I checked their Facebook page, which said nothing either way. So I drove way out there, only to be confronted by a locked door. I knocked and asked to come in. The dull-witted creature who answered the door said it was takeout only. I informed her that I had just checked their website 30 minutes ago, and was assured that dine-in was available. She denied this, and said I should wait while she went and checked. I informed her what should have been obvious, that I was disinterested in standing out in the cold while she checked what I already knew to be true since I had just checked it, and left. If you wish to be treated with the contempt I dealt with for being an ignorant white person who is stupid enough to believe what a restaurant puts on its website, by all means patronize this place. If you believe you should be treated with respect, then I suggest you give this place a wide berth and go where your business is appreciated, an excellent substitute would be "Mom's Kitchen" at about 2400 South State.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants, and for very good reason.
Wonderful Chinese menu. That's why.
Try the 'Dinner Combination' bento box, you won't be disappointed. This is plenty of delectable food for just about any appetite.
And the DimSum is stunningly amazing. The selection and variety is completely wonderful. Brought right to your table al a carte, so you can make the selection of each choice personally.
One of my absolute favorites are the Shanghai Juicy Buns. I can't begin to say enough good things about these little treats of piping hot deliciousness!
Amazing Orange Peel Chicken. Hunks of sticky sweet chicken dumplings coated in a heavenly citrus sauce.
We try to spend at least one Saturday a month at the Red Maple for a DimSum brunch.
It's a wonderful way to give yourself a well deserved rerward, as if you really needed an excuse.
Promise yourself to try the Dim Sum at least once, but wear your stretchy pants, you'll thank me.

Great food and great variety. The beef and broccoli is my favorite but the rest of my family loves the sea food dishes. Love that they're open on Christmas too. It's been a tradition of ours for 4 years, busy but worth it! Ambiance is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
