What a nice surprise! In Borrego Springs multiple times every year. Been meaning to try this local eatery but always looks full so we've gone on. Glad we stopped in. We were greeted with welcome and told to sit where we pleased. Ordered Ine tea which came quickly and adorned with a mint leaf and Lemmon, perfect. We found the menu to hit all the right buttons and although we aren't veggies we ordered the Vegie sandwich with one choice of potato salad for one of us and the tater tots for the other. Vegie Sammy on lightly toasted whole wheat bread, very generous portions of sliced avocados, tomato, lettuce, spinach and thin cut red onion. Mine came with added cream cheese ($100) nice portion of tots as a side. My wife's potato salad was a close match to our homemade version. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Will make this our first choice next time in town.

We had a delicious lunch at The Red Ocotillo about a week ago. My friend and I had the Quinoa salad, and it was delicious! Our husbands both had the fish tacos that were equally delicious. We will be back in Borrego Springs at the beginning of January, and will definitely go back for lunch! Great food and friendly service!
