If you haven’t been to Reds at Thousand Oaks yet, you’re missing out on one of West Michigan’s hidden gems. I’ve eaten here more times than I can count over the last decade with family, friends, and for special occasions, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently outstanding, the service is genuinely welcoming, and the atmosphere overlooking the golf course makes every visit feel just a little more special. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner or celebrating something important, Reds always delivers. One of the things I appreciate most is the consistency. It’s rare to find a restaurant that can maintain the same high quality year after year, but Reds has done exactly that for us. That’s why it has become one of our go-to places. I almost hesitate to call it one of West Michigan’s best-kept secrets because I selfishly don’t want it to get too busy—but they absolutely deserve the recognition and support. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting, I can’t recommend Reds enough. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50

I’ve been to Reds plenty of times, but Jacob always elevates the experience. He’s professional, quick, and his Redwater Old Fashioned is consistently spot on. It’s rare to find that level of service, especially when the bar is slammed. Five stars, no question. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60
