Make a change from your customary meal and order perfectly cooked fried fish, broth and bacon at this restaurant. Good peanut butter pie, biscuits and French toasts can be what you need. Redwood Restaurant has good wine among its drinks. A lot of visitors order great coffee.
The homely atmosphere of this place allows guests to relax after a hard working day. The friendly staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Prompt service is something clients agree upon here. You will like average prices. Also, the decor is nice. 4.3 is what this spot received from the Google rating system.

I am still shaking my head at the high reviews for this place. This place is in a 1972 time warp and I don't think it has been cleaned since 1972. When you enter there is a table set for the wait staff, where they spend a lot of their time eating in public view as customers are walking by. Everything looks old and dirty, the carpet, the chairs, the tables, and try not to look up as the ceiling tiles are full of dust. The menu is littered with junk. It is astonishing that a little destination spot in wine country cannot offer a decent meal for a good value, and giant portions of the fish fry is not what I'm referring to. One item on the menu doesn't have meat so I got that. It was supposed to be a veggie wrap, but it was more like an iceberg lettuce wrap with brown lettuce and parts of the core. The sandwich came with 20 little french fries which turned out to be the best part of the meal. We asked for hot sauce and what they brought was an expired bottle of Frank's that was already turning brown. The older woman serving us had this constant hack every time she talked. Never covered her mouth. There is plenty of parking but the parking lot is full of potholes. This little destination town needs to up their game and demand better, you deserve it. Unfortunately, Subway is a far better value than Redwood Restaurant and we will not be returning. One star because the waitress took the veggie wrap off the bill.
