My first visit to Regans and I am very impressed with the food. I had a cod and chips and it was beautiful. I had to wait a while for the food to be cooked but that's ok, the cod was white as it should be and the batter was crispy but not overdone, the chips were perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever. Would I go again - yes absolutely. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £10–20 Vegetarian options: There is plenty on offer on the menu

Absolute shocker! Years ago this was one of the best fish and chips shops round this area i found them online and thought I would order as I remembered how nice it was. Boy was i wrong, it must be new owners etc because this is not the Regans I know from years ago, the fish smelled rotten, the saveloy was grey inside, the chips were reheated and it all was a complete disaster! I can confirm I will not be coming back and its a shame its changed so much. I still say the best round here is The Golden Carp! Atleast its fresh and crispy not sitting there like your grandma's nappy under a heat lamp soggy for 4 hours. You have been warned UPDATE.... OWNER HAS REPORTED MY REVIEW AS FAKE. I HAVE PROOF IT IS NOT WHICH WILL BE UPLOADED. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THE OWER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS TO BARE FACE LIE! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £10–20

Since the change of management, the food is not cooked the same way as Mark and Wenda. Greasy batter, dry chips, savaloy was dry and leathery. My 2nd visit since the change of management and my last. Threw 3/4 of food away.
