After a long walk around St. Helen's Square, go to this restaurant and have a rest here. Chinese cuisine is to the pleasure of all visitors here. People may order tasty Dim sum, sweet & sour chicken and chicken fried rice at Regency Restaurant. The cooks here prepare good pancakes. This place offers you delicious wine or good beer. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters offer good tea.
At this spot, you can get a takeout. The staff is terrific that's what makes this restaurant so good. Prompt service is something clients like here. Prices are democratic for the quality you receive. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We ordered food at just before 7 pm on Saturday, rang them up at 8.40 pm after several attempts to get through and they had not even finished cooking. We are still waiting for the order at 9.40 pm. It is also suspicious that we cannot find a Tripadvisor site for this resturant.

We booked a table for eight of us, and without doubt (and we all agree), this is the best Chinese food any of us have had. The hospitality, attentiveness and all round customer service was shy. A big thumbs up from us to all the team. Thank you.

Pretty disgusted with the way we were treated as paying customers. Went yesterday for a friend's birthday and he had booked a table. First off one of the staff spilt a pint of lemonade over the table. Of course accidents happen, but it took an unreasonably long time to deal with. The drink was replaced (10 mins later) before any cleanup was attempted even though one of the guests was literally holding up the tablecloth to stop the liquid from spilling onto him! Eventually he asked for some paper towels to soak up the liquid and was handed a packet of tissues! Spillage aside, and about half an hour after we arrived we got to ordering food. The starters were fine (though we only got one plate of rough looking duck between nine of us) but then we had another maybe half hour/45 minutes wait to order our main courses which then obviously had to be cooked. We were towards the end of our main course when a member of staff (I presume a manager) came over to the table and told us we couldn't order any more food because they needed the table. Although a little surprised by this, we agreed to finish up our food and move to the bar area to finish our drinks. No more than a minute later the same member of staff started removing food from our table whilst people were STILL EATING saying very rudely that we were sitting too long and they needed the table as they had people waiting. We were forced off the table into the bar area where we were obviously still an inconvenience as we were in the way, and we still had to pay the full price bill. Honestly I'm disgusted, this is not customer service. Although my friend said that he was aware of the two hour sitting rule (I was not as it is not displayed in the restaurant, and he said that he had never once seen it enforced) it is common courtesy to say when we come into the restaurant that they need the table later and to be mindful of vacating by a specified time. Furthermore we have no control over the amount of time the staff take to take our order. We were spoken to rudely and not offered any compensation even though we were unable to finish our food. I for one will not be returning to Regency if they treat their paying customers with such disregard.
