Quantity and quality of the food is very good and much better to eat here than in the tate where the food is expensiveand boring. We took our food to the open square just up the road from the cafe and it was delicious and is highly recommended as there is an excellent selection of clearly, fresh sandwiches and other food available. Great cafe round the corner from Tate Britain. Such friendly staff, huge array of sandwiches and different bread.options, specials, jacket potatoes. Small corner cafe with seating and big windows. Generous cups of tea! Freshly prepared sandwiches - well filled - pillowy soft warm focaccia the size of the plate ! Delicious. Recommend over the basement cafe of the Tate and the cookies are a fifth of the price! It’s okay… they have a good selection of sandwiches but unfortunately the quality of the sandwich and the bread was average and too expensive. I ordered a Bacon chicken and avocado panini, and it was a little flavourless, and the bread clearly was nothing special. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch
