A small, old-fashioned café right by Kitakata Station : simple, charming, perfect before catching a train. The sandwiches were fresh and the coffee rich and comforting. The staff was warm and kind, making the place feel familiar, with soft piano music. Bonus: it’s one of the few cafés open early in the morning, perfect for early trains or rainy waits.
