You can go to this restaurant if you happen to be near The National Art Center, Tokyo. You will be provided Chinese cuisine at Rengetsu. You have a chance to degust nicely cooked gyoza and good pork.

Intimate hole-in-a-wall joint run by a Chinese food cooking contest champion (in Singapore apparently) and one server. So if there’s a line, may not have the swiftest experience. The dumplings are stellar, the pork is exquisitely seasoned quite the soul food, and the roe noodles are bit of an acquired taste but subtly delicious. And the zha cai is the best I’ve had anywhere, which is impressive given they are a staple in my country. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Small place, so called ahead to see if there were seats. They said no problem and took our name and said to head over, that they could seat us. We arrived shortly after...they were full and told us to wait. They said "just a little bit longer"...we waited for 25 minutes. Then the guy comes out with a weird aggressive attitude, almost commanding us and yelling "just wait!"... We left. We maybe would have waited a bit longer if he wasn't such a jerk. If you're full, don't tell people to come and make them wait. Awful service. Service: 1
