I loved this place. Chef Ferreri was fantastic there, the place was great, the staff was wonderful. When I would visit Philly the past few years, I'd make a res at Res Ipsa before I made my hotel reservation. This was such a memorable place and my meals were always superb. Finding out that Res Ipsa did not make it through the pandemic has me kind of blue right now. Best wishes to everyone involved and I hope that you all land on your feet. You all deserve the best.

I was excited to try res ipsa cafe since its just down the street from good karma cafe. When you go inside it's kinda small but it's no big deal. I went there for breakfast we ordered a tea and it was a little bland but j think that is just how the tea tasted. When we got our food it felt like we were eating a sponge. It felt a little rough and didn't have a good taste. I would try it again because maybe i just didn't go in the right time but i would give this place a 3/10
