Grabbed lunch here during our visit to Lake Toya. Even at 2pm, it was still busy (probably because it was during Golden Week). We had to wait a little bit for a table to clear, but we got seated within five minutes. We were given a menu, but then we were ignored for some reason. I tried to wave at the lady multiple times but she never looked over. Then she went to a different table to take an order and then she started clearing tables. Eventually my husband walked to the counter and put in an order with a younger staff member. But we were the only ones to do so. Everyone else got their order taken at the table. Not sure if it was because we were not Japanese but everyone else was. It made us feel a bit unwelcome... The food itself tasted great, like homestyle cooking. We had a katsu-curry and a katsudon. Both were delicious and filling. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Food and coffee were both good, and served quickly (there were only 2 tables occupied at 1pm). Still trying to figure out the playlist for the English R&B music in the background Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
