Tucked away in the mountain town near Ashiya, "Restaurant" offers a quaint dining experience with a focus on Japanese cuisine, including a popular botan nabe, which is a hot pot dish featuring wild boar. Despite its remote location about 2 kilometers from Ashiyagawa Station, the eatery caters to those seeking an escape from the city bustle, even taking reservations for its notable offerings. Guests might find themselves visiting this destination after a hike, as reviews suggest, but it's also accessible by car.

The establishment opens its doors for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week, providing table service alongside an intimate, cozy atmosphere suitable for groups. Visitors can enjoy a selection of beverages including alcohol, beer, and coffee, yet those requiring wheelchair access may find facilities lacking. Essential amenities like a restroom are available, though further details remain sparse, as recent updates from the owner are absent.

While "Restaurant" is not widely listed in popular directories, a minimal Google profile exists, reflecting its understated digital presence. With the most recent visitor review left two years ago, up-to-date insights are limited, leaving some uncertainty about changes since. It's a spot that appeals to those curious about local flavors without the need for comprehensive online endorsements.

In the mountains about 2 kilometers from Ashiyagawa Station on the Hankyu Line. You can enjoy botan nabe at a reasonable price in a simple mountain lodge.
