We( a party of 6) visited on a wet miserable January night for The Tapas Evening. The only miserable part of the evening was the weather. Once we arrived indoors the dining space and the atmosphere were warm. A lovely fire was burning and the waitress was friendly and very helpful. There was a great choice of small plates,all were absolutely delicious. The chef offered to cook a large sharing steak( which wasn't on the menu),this along with a variety of sides was absolutely delicious. It was our first visit and won't be our last Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

First time at The Chestnut Inn for dinner tonight and won't be the last. Good variety on the menu, food was cooked and presented perfectly in lovely, welcoming surroundings. Can't wait to get back for another steak!
