All the visitors like great German cuisine at this restaurant. Clients don't like kama and bitter at Bethanien. The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fast service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this place. A number of reviewers have noticed that the ambiance is enjoyable here. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

The food wasn't good! It was too expensive, our order was taken incorrectly and then when the correct food was finally brought to the table after a long wait, the pasta was completely overcooked and soft as butter. We had to eat our dishes separately because they didn't come at the same time and were wrong. In addition, for a portion of schnitzel (25€!!) and then extremely few fries, no salad OR let alone any sauce to be seen. We left the restaurant totally dissatisfied - not recommended. Total failure. The table next to us also had to send their food back. So it seems a bad cook is at work. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We spontaneously climbed the stairs and were rewarded! Very nice service, several rooms, quiet, great view of the Baltic Sea. The menu makes you curious, so the two of you order three starters. The wine was very tasty. Water buffalo medium-rare, perfectly fried, beautifully presented. Portion size appropriate. It was nice to be here again after 2 years. Thanks again to the Bethanien team! We had a table with a view of the Baltic Sea in very comfortable armchairs. The service was friendly and attentive. The bruschetta was delicious. And the meat from the Iberian pork and the fillet from the water buffalo were a real treat for the palate. Praise to the chef! And last but not least, the dog also felt very comfortable and was given a water bowl. we're looking forward to next time!
