Is this what passes as Chinese in Germany? How does a place like this get 4 stars from +90 reviews.... No - just no. At least, skip the buffet, most items looked like it hasn't been refreshed. Sushi rice was very sour and acrid - had to spit it out. The dessert bar was mostly canned fruit, cheesecake taste like water mixed with cheese substances I had to spit it out and I normally don't spit out food. Clearly, the food is NOT made for my Chinese American palate. No deal is worth going here and it wasn't. Go somewhere else, anywhere else!

Oh hell naaawww!!  As a Chinese decent from the US, I've had my fair share of crappy fake Chinese food that are geared towards Americans.  The food at Hu is another level of nastiness, even my 4 year old niece makes better Chinese food using play-doh than the food at Hu's. First off, they maybe using real Chinese ingredients, but the taste is definitely not Chinese.  I have no idea what some of these dishes are so I mainly stayed with food with vegetables.  The only thing that was good was the seaweed salad, which was most likely store brought.  The white rice, which is a staple in Chinese cuisine, is very dry. I'm sure my grandma's skin has more moisture than the rice at Hu's.  I can't believe a Chinese establishment doesn't know how to use a rice cooker! Cheesecake tastes like used condoms and the fruits are older than Hugh Hefner. Luckily I am only visiting Germany so I don't ever have to eat here again. If you're a local, go find another Chinese restaurant in Munich.  The buffet doesn't worth the 14 euros.  I'm sorry, but this is not even fake Chinese food, probably more like real dog food.
