Pretty much everything is ok about this hotel. Not great, not bad, just ok. Location is indeed as close to the beach as it gets. Parking is difficult, too many hotels in the area and not enough spots. Then came the night. We were given a room on the first floor, and at 22:00 sharp, as we were already in bed, the music starts. It was so loud we could hear the lyrics and sing along if we wanted. I went to the reception to complain, and realized the hotel was hosting a live music event. I was told this was supposed to go on until midnight and that I could be transferred to another room next day, but not tonight as the hotel was fully booked. I asked for “hoja de reclamacion” to file a formal complaint to the authorities against the hotel. I fill it out and I am given back an unsigned copy (which basically means the hotel can throw the original in the bin and it’s like nothing ever happened). When I tell the staff this needs to be signed+stamped to be made official, a free room on an upper suddenly becomes available. I am literally asked if I accept switching rooms on the condition of dropping the formal complaint that would likely get the hotel in trouble with the authorities.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, it included everything. It was, however, very hard to find a parking space, took me over half an hour to find one and I ended up parking quite far away.
