Worst restaurant experience in Oman This was honestly the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Oman. The food was disgusting, and we even found a rope in the food. When we informed the staff, the only reaction we got was a simple “sorry,” with no real concern or effort to fix the situation. Completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can eat here even if you're not staying at the resort. We had dinner here two times, because it's basically the only restaurant in the entire region, with an open buffet both times. The food was good with many different options. The only negative point is that it's very expensive and the most expensive restaurant we've visited in two and a half week in Oman. With the money you spend here for one meal, you can have dinner two to three times anywhere else in Oman. But since they have the monopoly at the top of Jabal Shams, what other choice do you have? Food: 5
